Edit, copy, and paste a message

Tap the message to position the cursor, or use the left and right cursor keys. New typing is inserted at the cursor. Return inserts a new line.

Backspace deletes text before the cursor. CLEAR empties the web app's whole message buffer. This differs from CLEAR in Communicate Keyboard, which clears a selected range without deleting it.

To copy the message, hold still on the message until the COPY balloon appears, then keep holding until it completes. In Tap mode, the copy hold is separate from ordinary typing taps. You can also use COPY MESSAGE on the symbols keyboard.

Use PASTE on the symbols keyboard to request clipboard text. Your browser may ask for clipboard permission or require its own paste action. Communicate does not automatically read the clipboard in the background.

The web message area supports cursor positioning rather than arbitrary text-range selection. Cut and Copy-selection controls therefore belong to the installed keyboard's host-editor workflow.
