Communicate Keyboard — Android
Move settings and phrases from the web app
On the same Android device, open Communicate in your browser and choose Settings → Move to Communicate Keyboard, or follow the corresponding Help link.
Choose what to send. Typing settings and Favorites/pins are selected by default; spoken History is optional. Communicate Keyboard shows a preview before you choose Import.
The handoff goes directly to the installed keyboard. It does not require a user-managed file or a server upload. The web app's originals stay unchanged. This is a one-time transfer, not continuous synchronization.
Imported phrases merge with existing phrases, preserving existing entries and imported pin order. Repeating the same import does not duplicate phrases or add uses. Voice selection, message-area size, and dwell-slider location are not transferred.
If the keyboard is missing or outdated, the browser shows installation guidance. Install or update it, return to the same browser, and send again. The fallback page does not carry your phrases. Some Android browsers may not support the direct handoff; Chrome is the tested route.
